Rabbits

Rabbits are social and with gentle handling are generally quite tame. 
Depending on the breed they can live 5-15 years. 
Rabbits are playful, active, and curious, and need a good variety of toys 
to keep them occupied. The right diet is important to keep your rabbit healthy. Pellets, timothy hay and fresh greens and vegetables are needed for a 
well balanced and high fiber diet. Fresh, clea
n water should 
be available at all times.

Guinea Pigs

Guinea pigs make wonderful companions. They generally live 5-7 years. 
These docile members of the rodent family rarely bite 
and are known for squeaking with delight. Guinea pigs’ teeth
grow continuously, it is important that you provide something to 
gnaw on at all times. Pellets and Timothy hay should make up the 
bulk of your pet’s diet. You may also offer small amounts of 
fruits and vegetables. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times. 

 

 

Ferrets

Ferrets can make great pets, they are cute and very playful. 
The average life span of a ferret is 6 to 8 years. Ferrets must be 
fed a high quality, dry ferret food. They enjoy fruit or sweet 
vegetables as treats. Dairy products, grains and breads, nuts, must 
be avoided. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.

Hamsters

Hamsters can be a wonderful family member and an excellent pet. 
Hamsters are nocturnal animals and live 3-4 years.  Hamsters’ 
teeth grow continuously,  A variety of wood structures and toys 
will help keep your hamster's teeth in shape.  They are naturally 
energetic and will do a lot of running a running wheel is a must. 
Hamster pellets (hamster food) and small amounts of fruits and 
vegetables consist of their diet.  Fresh, clean water should be 
available at all times. 

 

Chinchillas

Chinchillas can live for 15-22 years. With gentle handling most chinchillas 
will become quite tame. They are very active and playful. 
Chinchillas are largely nocturnal so will be most active at night. 
A Chinchillas diet should be timothy hay and pellets. Chinchillas 
need a variety of toys to keep them busy and active, especially items 
for chewing to keep the incisor teeth in good condition. Sometimes 
shy, they also need a hide box or a nesting box. Chinchillas have the 
somewhat unique grooming habit of dust bathing. Chinchilla dust and 
bath will be needed.
